Sad,

I disagree with this on about a hundred different levels, but let's just take the first one:

<i>"It’s been now proven our stomachs were never even meant for meat consumption and only meat eaters who refuse to read more about true homosapien nutrition would disagree"</i>

It hasn't been proven. There is theory from some scientists that say that and others that say something completely contrary. Anthropologists have not reached anything resembling a final conclusion on the subject. To suggest otherwise is simply to not have a firm grasp of the science.

I also know plenty of vegans who are sickly. Anecdotal evidence being what it is.

As a vegetarian I obviously don't support eating meat. It's been now proven our stomachs were never even meant for meat consumption and only meat eaters who refuse to read more about true homosapien nutrition would disagree, unless they are educated and at least, they will read on if not change. As a Buddhist I must say that if you have the option to eat something else, to go to your supermarket and chose a vegetarian meal, then all this talk of survival and feeding your family is pure lazy bull. If it was the end of the world and there is absolutely no food and your life depends on killing a bunny, then I would understand justifying it, but it is the arrogance of man to think nature wanted us - the only people capable of rational thinking - to avoid thinking all together and act like neanderthalls. Surely, we have learned a thing or two as we evolved no? the reason why veganism is spreading is that those who do it properly see the strength and alertness from this diet and refuse to go back to eating meat because they feel stronger. Majority of world's athletes are vegetarians if not vegans. What does that say? Most animals kill the sick, the weak or wounded. Humans who kill, don't care and sometimes don't even kill right away. Animals suffer for a stupid sport so a man with a small penis can feel a little more like a man. Killing for sport is nothing more than killing. Keep in mind that you are dead way longer than you're alive and I don't want to know what is waiting for those who hartlessly take another life as if no one else had any right to theirs.
