One of my favorite sites, The Art of Manliness, has just announced a new line of t-shirts. Three of them will probably go on my Christmas list for reasons that will be obvious to readers.

One of my favorite sites, The Art of Manliness, has just announced a new line of t-shirts. Three of them will probably go on my Christmas list for reasons that will be obvious to readers.
I love these all
Oooon second thought, while I love the Rough Riders shirt, I question whether they were the manliest military force in history. What about the Theban Sacred Band? The Diadochi, before they were Diadochi, and were just Alexander’s riding buddies?
I don’t think they are necessarily the manliest military unit…but perhaps the most colorful?
