More Changes for The Big Stick

In my never-ending quest to find a visual format for this blog that I can live with for more than a couple of months, I have started the process of editing the CSS code for this particular WordPress theme. Because I am learning CSS as I go, readers please be prepared for mistakes. It’s a scary process digging into all that code, although I am proud to say I was once equally terrified of HTML and now we are good friends. Okay, maybe not good friends but we can be in the same room together. In the meantime, you may visit one day and find that all the colors have turned to bubblegum pink and the text is in Russian. Please be patient.
I continue to be impressed with the administrative platform provided by WordPress, which is why I am working within one of their existing themes rather than striking out on my own. I love those WordPress folks and the fact that they let me play around with my blog this much is pretty darn cool. If you have any input on things you like, don’t like, etc please let me know. The changes are primarily being based on the components of other blogs I really enjoy reading from a visual standpoint.
As always the Blog Header is my playground when I want to take Photoshop Elements for a walk. No promises there although I can say that The Big Stick logo is here to stay. That font just makes me happy for some reason. And the moose will probably stick around as well..though I’m slightly less attached to him.

Can I put in a request for a functional spell checker? Pretty Please?
Seriously, I need to work on my HTML as well. Any suggestions for good self-teaching resources?
I’ll have to investigate the spell checker. If not maybe a preview pane
I just Google the heck out of my questions. I haven’t found one ‘Bible’ yet that i use for everything.
