Schumer on Pork

I’m a few of days late on this, but given my lack-of-fondness for Schumer, it’s still worth posting. Note to Chuck: You should start preparing your counter-ad for this at re-election time. Elephants have long memories.

And let me say this, to all of the chattering class, that so much focuses on those little, tiny – yes, porky – amendments: The American people really don’t care.

Schumer is simply part of a larger problem. Despite a minimal effort by Obama, most Democrats simply want to implement their left-wing agenda. I supported the stimulus, but that’s probably one of the few things I’ll be supporting. Pelosi is a nightmare, as is Reid. We can thank Mr. Bush for those two wielding any power.
