The Contendors Deliver

  

These three men (and one very feisty VP nominee) all earned the respect of their party last night when they collectively made their case for John McCain as president. Even Mitt Romney, who I have been pretty critical of, gave probably the best speech I’ve ever heard from him and it sounded sincere from start to finish. All three delivered the tough blows to the competition that the GOP is best at.

A blogger once lamented to me how she was in awe of the way Republicans circle the wagons every four years. Watching the convention last night, maybe the Democrats will learn something. I was very, very proud of my party and I remain very confident of McCain’s chances after the convention ends.
