Obama Stumbles on ‘First’ Negative Ad

According to his supporters, Obama has spent most of this summer enduring unfair attack ads from the McCain camp. Unfortunately for Obama, these ads have been effective, erasing his lead over McCain and some polls even show him trailing. Personally, I don’t think it’s possible to run a campaign without negatively comparing the other guy’s positions, attitude, etc to your own at some point. So I haven’t really had a problem with McCain’s ads.
We all knew though that sooner or later Obama would return ther favor. I don’t blame him and I just wonder why he waited so long. So with McCain’s recent blunder in naming how many homes he had, Obama’s folks thought they saw an opening:
Not bad for a first effort, but he leaves himself open to a counter-punch.
TKO folks. Obama made a real mistake in trying to raise the issue of legally purchased homes when his own home purchase was made with the help of a convicted criminal.
If this is the way competing negative ads look, I’d like to see McCain take the low road a little bit longer.

No networks – not even Fox – are running the Rezko ad. It’s a purely interweb sensation.
They don’t need the networks anymore. It’s on YouTube.
