I wonder how many G.I.'s were mailing in their vote for LBJ when they were knee deep in a rice paddy somewhere with no sign of an end to it. The damage that this bunch in power right now has done to the Republican party will be felt for a very, very long time. They wanted it, they got it. Now, they get to reap the harvest.
