Kerry was always a squeaker: Obama just changes between landslide and minor victory.

As for the debates, it’s clear to me that what he’s doing is trying to monopolize the limelight and squeeze McCain out of it. QUITE effective… Until McCain started to spin popularity as a downer. It’s a ballsy strategy that’s bad for America and bad fir him. It’s clear we agree on that much :-)

That tells me they are worried about a debate.

Obama still has a long road ahead of him and I keep recalling how sure of himself Kerry seemed at this point 4 years ago.

It’s a bad call on his part. I think he’d trounce McCain, and this sends the way wrong message. Obama’s not doing well lately in the strategy department – he needs to get the frak home from vacation.
