Swing Vote

My wife and I scored a couple of free tickets to the ‘sneak preview’ last night from our local newspaper. While I was initially skeptical that this was just a trick to capitalize on an election year (and I’m sure it was – slightly) I was pleasantly surprised by the movie.

I won’t go into all the details here, but I will say that we laughed…a lot. There were also some tear-jerker moments.  One thing I will mention is that I liked the fact that they made the two campaign managers the ‘bad guys’ instead of the candidates themselves. I get so tired of the all-politicians-are-evil mentality. This movie also makes you realize just how important the current race is…and even a little proud to be an American.
