Rabbit Patrol

Every gardner should have a loyal companion to keep the rabbits out of the vegetables.

Patroling the perimeter.

Ready for duty.

So serious about the job, too!

  2. Quite serious. Since he discovered that rabbits and squirrels were lurking near the garden he has stopped using our back steps. He now just launches himself off our deck and heads straight for the spot where they tend to hang out. I’m not exactly sure what he’s going to do if he actually catches one.

Most of the time though he’s just our 75 pound lunatic who spends 1/3 of his day sleeping, 1/3 tormenting our cats and 1/3 dropping soggy tennis balls in our laps hoping for a game of fetch. Somewhere in there he also eats like he’s never seen a food bowl before.

I’m sure once hunting season starts there will be many more pictures of him.
