Much the same way with the children. Of course, since we each brought one to the marriage, that’s more true than usual.

The dog is mine when he’s bad and ours when he’s good. I never claim the cats though. That would mean cleaning out the litter box!

He’s our 2 year-old yellow lab. This will be his second year hunting with me so he has a lot of training to do before September.

We have a couple of cats too. They belong to the wife though.
